Gulshan Devaiah supports Ramayan Ranbir's film, mentioning the success of Rajamouli's films

Actor Gulshan Devaiah stated that audiences should support Ranbir's film Ramayan, regardless of whether they like it or not. The film Ramayan is currently one of the most discussed pictures in Bollywood and is scheduled for release for the celebration of Diwali.

The internet community is divided regarding this picture: some are enthusiastic, while others are trolling the film. However, Devaiah insists on the necessity of supporting this project.

In a recent interview with HT, Gulshan Devaiah highly praised the efforts of the creators of the film Ramayan, who aim to bring Indian cinema to the world stage. He noted that the film, in his opinion, is being created with a very wide audience in mind, including both Indians living abroad and non-Indian audiences, with the goal of reaching people all over the world.

Devaiah emphasized that, just as Hollywood is the largest market for English-language films, any Indian film striving for global recognition is a great achievement. He called for support for Indian films that wish to carve out their niche on the international stage.

As an example, he cited SS Rajamouli's film RRR, which achieved significant success in America. Gulshan noted that although he personally did not feel a strong emotional connection to RRR, he was glad of its huge success in the US, considering it a positive moment for Indian cinema, as Rajamouli cemented his place there, which will likely inspire other filmmakers.

He concluded that Ramayan is likely a step in this direction. It is important that our films reach a global audience while remaining connected to their culture. Devaiah also mentioned that he himself has actively worked in Bollywood and recently achieved success in the South industry by playing an important role in the blockbuster Kantara Chapter 1 Rishab Shetty last year.

Producer of 'Mahakavya Shri Ramayana Katha' claims negative marketing hindered the film's success

Following the release of 'Mahakavya Shri Ramayana Katha,' based on the story of Rama, the film did not achieve the expected level of audience popularity. Due to low revenue, producer Prakash Mahobia made a serious statement. He claimed that a constant 'negative marketing campaign' was waged against the film, which prevented it from having a sufficient chance to reach audiences in theaters. As a result, the creators decided to re-release the film in cinemas.

In an exclusive interview with India Today, Prakash Mahobia spoke about the film's production for the first time. He noted that viewers who watched the movie were satisfied, but a significant portion of the audience never saw it. He emphasized: 'The entire period was accompanied by negative marketing. We didn't get the opportunity to reach our audience. Those who watched our film appreciated it very much. But if people simply don't watch the film, how can they form an opinion about it?'

The producer alleged that false information about the film was being spread among YouTubers and social media influencers. He suggested that competition with another major film about Rama might have been the reason for this. Mahobia reported that his team received information about paid marketing efforts against the film.

Prakash Mahobia stated that he was informed that influencers and other individuals were given opportunities to spread negative reviews about the film and were told not to watch it. When asked directly whether he accuses Nitesh Tiwari's and Namit Malhotra's team, he replied: 'I don't know for sure, but that's what we are told.'

The producer also stated that the announcement of his film took place long before the film starring Ranbir Kapoor. According to him, by the time the second film was announced, filming for 'Mahakavya Shri Ramayana Katha' had already begun, and the team was preparing to release the film.

Nevertheless, despite initial financial losses, Prakash Mahobia's main concern, as he explained, is not money, but that the film did not reach as many viewers as possible. As a first-time producer of the film, he admitted that he lacked experience in marketing after creating the picture. Now he wants to give this film another chance.

Prakash Mahobia reported that his team collected feedback from viewers in the states of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh. He stated that the reaction from those who watched the film was positive. Following this, the decision was made to re-release it. Although the new screening date has not yet been determined, the creators have fully prepared a plan. It is important to note that there are no plans for reshoots; that is, during the re-release, the film will be presented to the audience largely in the same form, and the creators want to see what love it receives this time.

Prakash Mahobia acknowledged that making the first film was a learning experience for him. He expressed satisfaction that the film was well-made. However, he clearly stated that in today's era, it is impossible to recreate something like Ramayanda Sagar. His goal was to immortalize the memories and impressions of watching Rama on television in childhood on a big screen.

He also added that his film and the soon-to-be-released second film about Rama have significant differences. The creators are confident that if their film had been given a proper chance to reach the audience, people would have loved it. 'Mahakavya Shri Ramayana Katha' stars Anjali Arora, Dev Sharma, and Rajnesh Duggal. Now it remains to be seen if the film's fate will change after the re-release.

Official trailer for animated 'Ramayana: Path of Dharma' released against the backdrop of a live-action project with Ranbir Kapoor

While Nimit Malhotra is investing 40 billion rupees in creating a live-action version of Ramayana with Ranbir Kapoor, the trailer for the animated 'Ramayana: Path of Dharma' has recently been released. This project emerged against the backdrop of the recent release of 'Ramayana' featuring Anjali Arora, whose visuals received mixed reactions from viewers.

The animated series 'Ramayana: Path of Dharma' was presented by a studio named 'Path of Wonders'. The released trailer pertains to the first episode of this series. Although the plot is based on the classic Ramayana, it will be depicted from the perspective of modern youth.

The trailer begins with a child who, after reading the Ramayana, starts seeing the story of Lord Rama in his dreams and sets out to explore it. This is followed by a scene showing only the silhouettes of huge arms, legs, and the tail of Hanuman lifting the Sanjeevani mountain. Then, the image of Lord Rama preparing to leave his kingdom for the forest is demonstrated, as he intends to fulfill a promise made to his father.

Mata Sita and Lakshman also decide to accompany him. After this, a voiceover plays, narrating how he voluntarily left the throne, which slipped away like sand, but fully kept the vow made to his father.

'Ramayana: Path of Dharma' is voiced by many renowned Indian artists. As of now, the release date of the series has not been announced. However, viewers reacted to the trailer with great enthusiasm, considering this version significantly superior to the 'Ramayana' with Anjali Arora. Viewers liked both the musical score and the visuals. Many even noted that this project touched their hearts more than 'Ramayana' Ramananga Saagara.
