For the second time, an art exhibition and master class titled 'True Promise in the Mirror of Art' is taking place in Tehran. The event is open to artists and the general public at Palestine Square.
According to Mehr, the program runs daily from 20:00 to 22:00 and will continue until October 16. This exhibition is part of the visual section of the second international program 'True Promise in the Mirror of Art.'
The event is organized by the Basij of Artists of Greater Tehran in cooperation with the division of the Basij of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company and the cultural and educational deputy of the Department of Artistic Affairs of the Martyrs and Veterans Foundation.
During the master class, visual artists create works together with participants from the public, focusing on themes related to Iran's operations called 'True Promise' and their artistic representation.
Other topics discussed include leadership, lifestyle, approach to governance, and martyrdom of the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. Furthermore, the organizers address themes of strength, courage, and Iran's strategic capabilities during the 12-day conflict and the Ramadan War.
The program is also dedicated to themes of sacrifice and martyrdom through the lens of fine arts.
The second international exhibition 'True Promise in the Mirror of Art' was organized by the Basij Organization of Artists, whose secretary is Mohammad Najari.
The 'True Promise' operations represent a series of military actions launched by Iran in response to Israeli attacks. The first operation, which took place in April 2024, included missile and drone strikes on Israel following an Israeli attack on an Iranian diplomatic facility in Damascus on April 1. In October 2024, a second operation occurred after the death of high-ranking figures in Iran and allied groups. In June 2025, Iran began Operation 'True Promise III' in response to Israeli strikes on Iranian territory during the 12-day conflict. These operations have become a notable theme in Iran's official discourse on national defense, reflected in cultural and artistic events.
