Tesla sales showed a contraction during the third quarter of 2026. However, this drop was particularly sharp in models that are not part of the Model 3 and Model Y lines. This specific category registered 8,295 deliveries between July and September, representing a decrease of 48% compared to the same period in 2025.
Detailed information on Cybertruck sales was not provided, making it impossible to determine what portion of this reduction is due to the pickup truck. Production, on the other hand, showed an upward trend. Tesla manufactured 464,391 vehicles in the quarter, an increase of 3.7%. The Model 3 and Model Y models contributed 457,387 units, representing a growth of 4.9%, while the other models totaled only 7,004 vehicles, constituting a decrease of 39.8%.
Since deliveries exceeded production capacity, Tesla had to use previously produced vehicles to meet demand. In the energy storage sector, results were positive: the company installed 13.7 GWh in the quarter, an advance of 9.6% compared to the previous year.
