The Iranian national beach soccer team will participate in a three-way tournament in Belarus, which will also feature the host country and Oman. The tournament is scheduled for October 17 and 18.
The Iranian squad is set to arrive in Belarus on October 13 to prepare for the AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup 2026. This cup will take place in Thailand at the end of November.
As part of the continental competition, Iran has been placed in Group B alongside Afghanistan, Vietnam, and Lebanon.

Discussing the upcoming tournament, Iran's head coach, Naderi, stated: 'Before the AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup, we will participate in a three-way tournament in Belarus, where the host country and Oman will be involved. I hope this tournament will help us raise our level of preparation, as both Belarus and Oman are among the leading teams in world and Asian beach soccer, respectively.'
When asked about Iran's main rivals in the AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup 2026, Naderi noted that the team will focus on each match individually. Among the team's key goals are qualifying for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup and defending their Asian title.
The Iranian coach added: 'There are three spots in Asia to qualify for the World Cup, and strong teams such as the United Arab Emirates, Japan, Oman, and Saudi Arabia will compete. We will move step by step, striving to secure qualification for the World Cup while defending our title.'
