Hidden village near Dharamshala revealed, stunning traveler with its nature

In the state of Himachal Pradesh, where tourists often limit themselves to visiting Manali and Shimla, there are many little-known villages with breathtaking natural beauty. Digital content creator Hushi Dei, who lives in the Chamba region, often shares videos on social media showcasing mountain landscapes. One of her videos went viral because she talked about the village of Rakkar in Himachal.

If you are planning a vacation and want to explore a new and peaceful place, you can include the village of Rakkar, nestled in the Himalayas, in your list. In the hustle and bustle of city life, people seek time in silence and peace, which is why they go to the mountains during vacations. If you are planning a trip to Himachal, you can visit this village, where you will find moments of tranquility and breathtaking beauty.

Hushi Dei shared this video a year ago after a trip to this village, and now it is gaining popularity online again. In the video, she noted that it was a surprise given to her by Dharamshala. Dharamshala is a modern city where you can find everything: from shopping malls and hotels to educational institutions. However, as soon as you drive 8 kilometers away from the city to the village of Rakkar, an incredible view of nature opens up that makes you stop.

The village of Rakkar is a very picturesque place located near the Hanianar valley, which remains an unexplored tourist destination. Perhaps this is why its natural beauty is preserved in its pristine form. Here you can see houses built in the old Himachali style, and large-scale development has not yet taken place. If you want to get closer to the culture of the residents of Himachal, you can visit this village; the locals still keep livestock and grow their own vegetables for their diet.

In this area, you can see the Dhauladhar mountain range. Hushi recounted that one morning, while walking with her friend before sunrise, the sight combining twilight and light was like a dream. From there, there was a view of the Dhauladhar mountain range stretching from the Kangra valley. This moment was unforgettable, and internet users are actively commenting on the video, praising the village of Rakkar.

From Delhi or any other city, you can reach Dharamshala by bus. From there, you can travel to the village of Rakkar by private taxi, auto-rickshaw, or local bus. From the Dharamshala bus station, you can take a bus to Dari or Hanianar to reach the village of Rakkar. Additionally, you can rent a motorcycle to travel to this village.
