ASICS SportStyle presents GEL NYC™ 2.0, inspired by heritage and collaboration with musician Muzi

ASICS SportStyle has teamed up with South African music producer Muzi for the new GEL-NYC 2.0 campaign. This campaign connects archival design, contemporary creativity, and movement.

ASICS SportStyle turned to its archives to create the next chapter of the GEL NYC™ 2.0 model, reworking past design influences into a modern silhouette designed with contemporary lifestyle and fashion in mind. This approach finds a natural parallel in the work of South African musician Muzi, who is known for drawing inspiration from the past and reinterpreting it through his own modern lens, forming a unique sound that carries musical heritage into the present.

ASICS Marketing Manager Amanda Stanley noted: 'We were thrilled about the partnership with Muzi on this exciting project, inspired by the authentic way he moves through urban spaces to find inspiration for his music, as well as the generations of perspectives that continue to shape his creative journey.'

The central idea of the ASICS SportStyle campaign is the slogan 'Move your body, move your mind.' The story presented in the 60-second commercial featuring Muzi explores movement as a source of creative energy and its ability to change perspective, reveal ideas, and stimulate something new.

For Muzi himself, the connection between heritage, reinterpretation, and movement closely reflects his own creative process. He shares that much of his music starts with something familiar—a sound or feeling from his childhood—after which he finds a way to make it new and relevant to his current self. He noted that this became the point of convergence with GEL NYC™ 2.0. Movement is also part of this process for him; sometimes changing location or simply starting to move helps unlock the next idea. Spending time in new places brings him moments of calm, reflection, and inspiration, which is what the phrase 'Move your body, move your mind' means.

GEL NYC™ 2.0 Design Concept

The GEL NYC™ 2.0 model embodies this same concept in its design. The updated mesh fabric and reflective accents give the silhouette a fresh look, while the light, streamlined cut is designed for everyday wear. FF BLAST™ PLUS cushioning provides responsive comfort, while GEL™ technology enhances shock absorption, combining ASICS sports technology with a silhouette intended for modern style.

The ASICS GEL NYC™ 2.0 collection can be purchased at Sportscene, in stores, and online via BASH starting from October 2026, from R3 399.90.

Social media influencer Nakul Dul (Mittu Don) becomes subject of controversy over remarks about women ahead of possible participation in 'Bigg Boss'

Nakul Dul, known as Mittu Don, a social media influencer, has drawn public attention due to discussions about his potential participation in the reality show 'Bigg Boss 20' as a wild card contestant. The news of his possible entry caused old videos featuring Nakul making critical statements to go viral again on social networks.

In one video, he speaks about how to stalk a girl at night to experience fear. In another video, he uses terms such as 'lower gender' regarding women. These clips have sparked dissatisfaction on social media regarding his supposed participation in the show.

Although there is no official confirmation of Nakul Dul's wild card entry into 'Bigg Boss 20', his name appears in reports, and an official statement from the show's creators is expected.

Nakul Dul's old clip intensifies the anger of social media users. In it, he says: 'One day go after a girl at 11 PM. You will know what fear is.' He then advises friends not to harass girls, but just to run quickly and suddenly overtake her. He also used coarse language, saying: 'If you need to be scared, then be scared properly, don't be afraid of these girls, brother.'

Laughter from a friend is heard in the background of this clip. Users consider it wrong to turn serious concerns for women's safety into a joke. Stalking an unknown person at night can become a real threat and a source of fear for women. This video was previously criticized in February 2026.

Another old clip of Nakul Dul is gaining attention. In it, he uses expressions like 'lower gender' regarding women. In the video, he states: 'The thing is, we do not hang out with people of lower gender. It is the lower gender. We are people of higher gender.'

After this statement appeared, social media users questioned his viewpoint. Many felt that his manner of speaking belittled women. Amidst discussions about his possible appearance on 'Bigg Boss', the re-circulation of these old clips intensified the debate.

Nakul Dul is a social media influencer and content creator from Faridabad, Haryana. Online, he is known by the pseudonym 'Mittu Don'. He creates videos on Instagram and YouTube where he shares his opinions on memes, satire, humor, as well as various social and political issues.

He studied civil engineering at VIT Vellore and later built his career in content creation. His fame is linked to his candid style and satirical videos. Nakul's content includes comments criticizing the government, but some of his remarks about women have caused controversy, especially videos concerning women's safety and respect for them. Consequently, viewer opinions are divided regarding his potential participation in a major reality show like 'Bigg Boss.'

In the context of Nakul Dul's possible participation in 'Bigg Boss', his Instagram account is also being discussed. He has deleted all his Instagram posts except those from October 6th and 7th. It is assumed that only posts from these dates will now be visible on his social network. Although Nakul himself has not commented on this, it is seen as related to his possible entry into 'Bigg Boss.'

Following the news of Nakul's wild card entry, many social media users expressed their disapproval. One user called him a person with an extremely negative attitude towards women, while another expressed strong indignation about the news that such a participant might be invited to the show.

The question now arises: if Nakul Dul actually enters the 'Bigg Boss 20' house, will his old statements cause conflicts within the show? An official confirmation from the creators is still awaited.

Drishyam 3: Critics Note Decreased Tension Compared to Previous Installments

A line spoken during the rehearsal of the theatrical production in the first half of 'Drishyam 3' might prove decisive for the entire film. The question arises as to who on screen is awake and who has fallen asleep. Vijay Salgaonkar, Tabu, Gaitonde, along with new characters and family, are featured in the movie.

All actors are present, but the anxiety that made the first two parts memorable is absent. Watching the first 'Drishyam' evoked an anticipation: 'What will happen next?'. This time, the feeling often arises: 'Okay, now this will happen,' and then it does. Perhaps this is why after the film ends, the phrase 'Drank alcohol and fell asleep... Phoo!' is what is most remembered, rather than the plot.

The situation in the first 'Drishyam' was different. Vijay Salgaonkar and his family were in trouble; the police were pursuing them, and the audience felt fear alongside them. It seemed that any small detail could reveal the secret. The dates October 2 and 3 were remembered as strongly as the wedding date.

In the second part, the same game continued: what would Vijay do, what would the police do, who would be one step ahead. The brain remained active until the end of the film, and people discussed the plot even after leaving the theater.

Transitioning to the third part brings the thought: 'Drank alcohol and fell asleep... Phoo!'. This is because less anxiety is felt while watching the film this time. In many places, it seems that the plot itself suggests what will happen next. The viewer thinks: 'Now this will happen,' and soon it does. Then comes the thought: 'And the next thing will be like this.' And that also happens.

Thus, in the first 'Drishyam', the question was: 'What will happen next?', whereas in the third, the feeling often arises: 'Okay, now this will happen.' This difference becomes key to the entire film.

Ajay Devgn is in his usual style: the same serious face, the same thoughtfulness in his eyes. However, in Vijay Salgaonkar's silence in the first part, much hidden was felt. It seemed that the man was secretly playing some big game. This time, in many scenes, it seems that Vijay is silent because the scene demands quietness.

Tabu is also present. Her character resembles the old Mira Deshmukh. Gaitonde also participates, reminiscent of Gaitonde from previous films. Ajay Devgn's family is also shown, but strangely, none of these elements evoke such strong memories as in the first two parts.

Jaidip Ahalawat appears, which offers hope. He is a good actor and is noted by his presence. But the tension of the intellectual confrontation between the characters of Tabu and Vijay Ajay Devgn, as in previous parts, is not fully felt here.

It is here again that the phrase 'Drank alcohol and fell asleep... Phoo!' resurfaces. It gives the impression that all the main characters gathered together, each played their role, and then someone said, 'Alright, enough.' This did not happen in the first two 'Drishyam' films; in them, every small detail in the plot mattered: some date, place, lie, or excuse.

This time, many things appear and disappear. After the first film, the plot remained in memory. This time, while watching the film, old movies are often recalled. And this may be the biggest sorrow.

The third part is more reminiscent of the first and second parts than having its own plot. You see Ajay Devgn and recall the first part; you see Tabu and recall the old confrontation; Gaitonde appears and recalls the old interrogation; the family appears and recalls the old fear. But this time there is nothing original that remains in memory after watching.

Only one phrase remains in the head: 'Drank alcohol and fell asleep. Phoo!'. And perhaps this is the greatest sarcasm of this film.

The first 'Drishyam' kept us tense. The second made us think. In the third, we waited for something shocking to happen again. But often you realize what will happen next even before the shocking moment arrives.

The film is not bad. The actors performed well, there are events in the plot, and it holds the viewer until the end. But for a film of the 'Drishyam' level, simply holding attention is not enough. It first connected with us. Now it just leads us forward.

And at the end remains this question: where did the anxiety, the fear, the pleasure of the first two parts go? Perhaps after the first two films, the plot was allowed to relax a bit this time. Where previously every scene had a reason, every character left something, and at every turn it seemed something big was coming, here in many places, people were just waiting.

Looking back after the film ends, it seems that Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Gaitonde, the family, Jaidip Ahalawat—everyone came and went through their scenes. But the essence for which we returned after the first two films was not created. Then the meaning of this phrase becomes clear: 'Drank alcohol and fell asleep... Phoo!'. This time it seems that this phrase was said not by some single character, but by the story itself.
