First design exhibition for hotels and homes to take place in Limpopo

Limpopo is preparing to present its design scene to the public with the launch of the region's first Design Exhibition for Hotels and Homes. The event will run for three days, from October 8th to 10th, and will be held in hangar T49 of Polokwane International Airport.

More than 60 participants from various parts of South Africa will gather at the exhibition. The event will bring together furniture, textiles, decorative items, works of art, and hospitality services.

Companies from Limpopo, Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Eastern Cape, and North West Cape will take part in the event. The exhibition is primarily oriented towards business, connecting exhibitors and hotel operators, property developers, interior designers, and procurement teams looking for goods and services for future projects.

Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to meet the people and companies behind the products, whether they are furniture, textiles, art, or decor.

During the event, the South African fashion and design brand MAXHOSA AFRICA will curate the VIP lounge and present temporary displays, while Zwakala Brewery will organize a special bar.

The program also includes design discussions that will be conducted by the South African Design Institute, running parallel to the exhibition itself.

For Limpopo, this exhibition is not just a display of beautiful objects; it serves as a gathering point for local artisans, recognized brands, and individuals shaping South Africa's hospitality and interior industries.

The exhibition is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm in hangar T49 of Polokwane International Airport. For travelers passing through Polokwane this week, it is an additional reason to look beyond the province's more famous natural and tourist attractions and see what is being created closer to home.
