FSSAI begins inspection regarding products with GLP-1 claims, spoiled, and pesticide-contaminated raisins

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has initiated specific enforcement actions in three cases that drew its attention. These cases include food products advertised for individuals undergoing GLP-1/GIP therapy; raisins containing unsafe pesticide residues; and expired or spoiled food sold through the Flipkart platform.

Furthermore, it was found that the claim that a product is 'imported from Europe for purity' is misleading, as European origin alone does not guarantee enhanced or superior protein quality.
