The Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan held a meeting with representatives of the Japanese company Seibu Prince Hotels and Resorts, which specializes in international hotel and resort management.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the development of hotel infrastructure, the attraction of international brands, and the prospects for new investment projects in the tourism sector.
Representatives of Uzbekistan presented reports on the achievements of the tourism sector in recent years, as well as information on infrastructure modernization and the implementation of new hotel projects. Special attention was paid to the opportunities for expanding the presence of international hotel companies in the Uzbek market.
Participants also considered the potential of applying the experience of Seibu Prince Hotels and Resorts in the field of international hotel management, marketing, and improving service quality in Uzbekistan.
The company is part of the Japanese Seibu Group and manages hotels, resorts, golf courses, and other leisure facilities both in Japan and abroad. According to the company, its network includes over 100 hotels in 13 countries, and Seibu Prince Hotels and Resorts plans to increase its global network to 250 properties in the future.
The prospects for creating modern hotel facilities in the touristically attractive regions of Uzbekistan were also discussed. The parties examined the possibility of implementing modern hotel management technologies and international service standards, as well as attracting international brands.
The participants exchanged views on the further development of tourism cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan. Areas of cooperation include exchanging experience in the hotel business, staff training, and enhancing the professional skills of specialists.
Furthermore, the parties studied opportunities for launching new investment projects aimed at developing hotel infrastructure and expanding international interaction in the tourism sector.
