Seven-year-old chess player Muhammadyusuf Bahromov from Uzbekistan wins Asian School Champion title

Seven-year-old chess player Muhammadyusuf Bahromov from Uzbekistan won the gold medal at the Asian School Championship. In his age group, he managed to score 8 out of nine possible points.

Details of the championship match

In the final ninth round, Muhammadyusuf Bahromov defeated Vladimir Karaev, which allowed him to become the Asian champion among boys in his age category with a final score of 8 points.

The XX Asian Chess Championship for Schoolchildren is being held in the Tula region from October 1 to 11. Over 300 young chess players aged seven to seventeen from thirteen countries participated in the competition. Among the participants are Uzbekistan, India, China, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Sri Lanka.

Furthermore, Uzbek chess history has noted the success of young chess player Khusnorahon Husnitdinova, who received the title FIDE Woman FIDE Master (WFM), which is a sports title for women.
