The Governor of the Fergana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, received a delegation from South Korea, led by Hansae Mobility's Senior Executive Director, Jeon Dae-won, on October 8.
The parties discussed the implementation of an investment project aimed at producing automotive components in the region, as well as issues of further cooperation.
A representative of the Korean company presented updated information about the project being implemented at the Kuvasai site in the Kokand Free Economic Zone. The investment volume for this project is 30 million US dollars.
In the initial stage, the enterprise plans to create 140 new jobs. After reaching full production capacity, the number of employed people is expected to increase to 250.
Production at the enterprise has already begun, and the company continues to expand its interaction with its clients. During the meeting, the completion of the project within the established deadlines and compliance with required quality standards, as well as the full launch of production capacities and partnership development, were discussed.
Relevant officials were instructed to accelerate construction work and ensure its high-quality completion. Representatives of Hansae Mobility expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Fergana region for the practical support provided within the framework of this investment project.
