Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia announced via the X platform (formerly Twitter) that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the India Mobile Conference (IMC 2026) today, which will take place in Yashobhoomi, New Delhi.
IMC 2026 is the tenth edition and represents the largest event in Asia in the field of telecommunications and technology. This year's theme is set as 'Scale Without Boundaries'. Prime Minister Narendra Modi plans to open IMC 2026 on Thursday morning.
Representatives from numerous technology companies, including telecom giants, will participate in the event. Among the attendees will be Loradj Dreier, Vice President of Business Operations for Starlink Business Operations from SpaceX.
Major companies such as Qualcomm, GSMA, Ericsson, Jio, Vodafone Idea, Bharti Airtel, and Intel will present their delegations. The exhibition will feature booths dedicated to next-generation networks and 6G technology.
Figures such as Akash Ambani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Reliance Jio, and Sunil Bharti Mittal, founder and chairman of Indian Enterprises, are expected to attend IMC 2026.
In addition to telecommunication issues, IMC 2026 has planned discussions on 6G, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Satellite communication, as well as the future and manufacturing processes of semiconductors in India, will also be discussed.
The conference will also focus on startups. The ASPIRE program will play an important role in this, paying special attention to deep technologies and advanced developments this year. The program's goal is to help startups transition from the prototype stage to gaining market opportunities and investments.
The tenth edition of the India Mobile Conference 2026 is organized jointly by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
