Ford Maverick Lariat launched as entry-level version for R$ 209,900 in Brazil

The Ford Maverick Lariat is now available for purchase in Brazil for the price of R$ 209,900. This new entry-level version of the 2026 lineup is offered in a limited edition and has a price R$ 20 thousand lower than the Maverick Hybrid, although it shares its design.

In terms of powertrain, it uses the same configuration as the Lariat Black: a 2.0 EcoBoost turbocharged gasoline engine that generates 253 hp and 38.7 kgfm, coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive (AWD).

Aesthetically externally, the Lariat features 19-inch alloy wheels and chrome trim on the grille. The interior was designed with superior quality upholstery.

Lucas Cortez Orlando, Ford's Marketing Supervisor, stated that the purpose of this limited edition is to measure how consumers receive this new combination of features.

Standard items include an electric sunroof, 360° camera system, a bed equipped with spray-in coating, a 73-liter compartment located under the rear seat, and towing accessories.

The cabin offers various advanced features, such as an electrically adjustable driver's seat, a 13.2-inch SYNC 4 multimedia center supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, an 8-inch digital display, and a premium B&O sound system.

Other standard equipment includes a tonneau cover, front and rear parking sensors, and the ability to perform remote system updates.

The safety package is robust, encompassing adaptive cruise control with stop & go function, lane keeping assist, autonomous braking capable of detecting pedestrians and cyclists, blind spot monitoring, and a total of seven airbags.

The Maverick Lariat has five configurable driving modes: Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, and Tow/Haul. Additionally, built-in connectivity is standard and allows remote vehicle control through the Ford app, including functions such as locking doors, starting the engine, and locating the car.

This launch occurs just days after Ford adjusted the pickup truck's prices. Since October 2nd, the Tremor and Hybrid versions have had reduced prices to R$ 229,900, representing a decrease of R$ 10 thousand from the previous price. The Lariat Black is sold for R$ 219,900.

The 2026 lineup is available in five colors: Asturias Black, Space White, Torres Gray, Glasgow Gray, and the newly added Arizona Orange.
