Uzcosmos and STAR.VISION have concluded an agreement on cooperation concerning the use of hyperspectral satellite data.
This agreement provides for joint work on developing and testing practical solutions based on images obtained from the Samarkand 2028 satellite.
The signing ceremony took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Present were the Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov, Uzcosmos Director Shukhrat Kadyrov, and STAR.VISION Group CEO Danyin Fan, according to information from Uzcosmos.
According to the terms of the memorandum, the parties intend to explore opportunities for the practical application of hyperspectral data, as well as support research activities and test new technologies.
Special attention will be paid to the further commercialization of the developed solutions. The parties plan to assess the potential of using the obtained data to create practical products based on space technologies and satellite information.
Uzcosmos emphasized that the partnership with STAR.VISION will open up new prospects for the effective implementation of space technologies and satellite data in practice.
