Ministry of Energy Issues Guidelines for Right-of-Way Compensation for Power Lines

The Ministry of Energy has issued new regulations concerning the determination of compensation amounts for landowners when laying interstate power transmission lines. These measures are aimed at accelerating the implementation of energy transmission projects.

The new guidelines establish separate rates for both the Right of Way (RoW) corridor and for lands used for tower foundations.

Officials reported that these principles will apply to power lines with voltages of 66 kV and above, except in cases where the regional government has already notified its own compensation policy.
