The State Medical Insurance Fund of Uzbekistan received transfers totaling 27.09 trillion sums during the first nine months of 2026, according to the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan.
Of this total amount, 1.37 trillion sums were allocated from the republican budget to ensure specialized and high-tech medical services. The remaining portion, amounting to 25.72 trillion sums, was distributed among various regions.
Samarkand region received the largest share, with 3.05 trillion sums. This was followed by Fergana region with 2.78 trillion sums, Andijan region with 2.31 trillion sums, Tashkent region with 2.1 trillion sums, Kashkadarya region with 2.08 trillion sums, and Namangan region with 2.03 trillion sums.
Funds were also allocated to Tashkent amounting to 1.83 trillion sums, and to Sunkandarya region—1.78 trillion sums. Bukhara region received 1.68 trillion sums, Karakalpakstan Republic—1.65 trillion sums, and Khorezm region—1.39 trillion sums.
The smallest allocations were directed to Jizzakh region (1.13 trillion sums), Navoi region (1.12 trillion sums), and Syrdarya region (801.2 billion sums).
