Wildberries invests $140 million in the construction of a logistics complex in Uzbekistan

A modern logistics center of the Wildberries company will be built in the Tashkent region of Uzbekistan. The implementation of this project resulted from the signing of an agreement between the Russian marketplace and the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan.

The agreement was concluded after the holding of the III Council of Regions of Uzbekistan and Russia, which took place on October 6 in Fergana. The event brought together delegations from all regions of Uzbekistan and 17 regions of Russia, and attracted about 400 entrepreneurs from both countries.

Project Details

The Wildberries project is planned to be implemented in the Tashkent region between 2027 and 2028. The complex is designed as a modern facility with a total area of 180 thousand square meters, and the required investment volume is estimated at $140 million.

In addition to this agreement, four other documents were signed at the forum. These agreements concern establishing cooperation between the Fergana and Omsk regions, the Surkhandarya region and Krasnoyarsk Krai, as well as the Namangan region and Dagestan.

Previously, representatives of Wildberries had announced their participation in the supervisory board of the national postal operator UzPost.
