Mirziyoyev reviewed Lukoil projects in Uzbekistan

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the founder of Lukoil, Vagit Alexeyev, on October 6 in Tashkent.

During this meeting, the parties reviewed the current activities of the Russian company in Uzbekistan's energy sector and discussed prospects for further cooperation.

Vagit Alexeyev presented the head of state with information on the implementation of Lukoil's projects in the country. Special attention was paid to geological exploration and the development of promising hydrocarbon deposits.

In addition, the parties discussed in detail plans for developing the company's retail network for the sale of petroleum products. Steps were also outlined to expand Lukoil's operations in Uzbekistan.
