Six citizens of Uzbekistan, who were internationally wanted through Interpol channels on suspicion of committing crimes of varying severity, have been extradited from the United Arab Emirates to Uzbekistan. Among those detained were five men and one woman.
According to a statement from the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Uzbekistan, this operation for detention and subsequent extradition was carried out thanks to the joint work of the National Central Bureau of Interpol in the UAE and the relevant state bodies of both countries. Such interaction includes operational data exchange and coordination of measures aimed at locating and returning the wanted individuals.
It is worth noting that since the beginning of this year, 16 Uzbek citizens have already been returned from the UAE via Interpol. Furthermore, last summer, information confirmed the deportation of twelve Uzbek citizens from the UAE who were also wanted internationally.
