Hududgazta’minot JSC supplies liquefied gas to over 3.73 million households, as well as about 2,000 social facilities. This was reported by Akmal Jurayev, head of the company's liquefied gas supply department, during a briefing at the Media Content Preparation Center.
From January to September 2026, more than 398,000 tons of liquefied gas were supplied to consumers. As part of preparations for the autumn-winter period, 93 gas filling stations and gas storage facilities were put into readiness, and the necessary technical and material reserves were formed. Additionally, a reserve of 24,000 domestic gas cylinders was created in the regions.
For the 2026–2027 heating season, a supply of 325,700 tons of liquefied gas is planned. Of this volume, 8,200 tons are intended for 104,700 consumers in 229 remote and hard-to-reach villages and settlements.
The company emphasized that special attention is paid to coordinating all stages of the supply process: from gas reception and storage to cylinder filling and delivery to end consumers. Simultaneously, citizens' appeals regarding liquefied gas supplies are being reviewed.
In the first nine months of 2026, 18,323 requests related to liquefied gas supplies were received through the Presidential Virtual Reception. According to the company, 98% of these were resolved positively, and work on the remaining appeals continues.
At the same time, the number of such requests has begun to decrease: if there were 6,693 in June–July, the number dropped to 3,974 in August–September, which is a decrease of 2,719 requests or 40.6%.
To improve public interaction, the number of 24/7 call center operators was increased from 62 to 93 people. In the regions, appeals are also reviewed through Telegram groups in cooperation with 'mahalla sem'. Personal and on-site meetings with managers and specialists are being held.
Hududgazta’minot is implementing digital tools to monitor supplies. Gas reception at gas filling stations is recorded in the E-Gaz electronic system. During targeted deliveries, the recipient's identity is verified using Face ID. The company notes that this contributes to increasing accounting accuracy, reducing human error, and ensuring supply transparency.
In parallel, Uzbekistan is implementing measures to reform the system of supplying liquefied gas to the population and gradually introducing market mechanisms. These measures include purchasing gas through exchange trading, attracting private entrepreneurs to supply, and developing competition.
A pilot project has been launched in the Andijan region, which involves the participation of private operators in the direct supply of imported liquefied gas to consumers in domestic cylinders.
Furthermore, LLC 'LPG-Trade' is being established in collaboration with Hududgazta’minot. It is expected that starting November 1, 2026, the company will begin purchasing liquefied gas for public needs through a separate exchange trading platform, after which supplies will be made to consumers. Additional purchases through open exchange trading will be available if necessary.
The difference between the state-regulated retail price of gas for households and the economically justified costs of its supply will be covered by the state budget. Mechanisms for targeted support for socially vulnerable groups are also planned, while maintaining existing benefits.
Consumers can contact short number 1104 for information on the supply of liquefied gas and domestic gas cylinders. The company advises specifying the exact address and contact phone number when submitting a request so that the issue can be considered promptly.
