Pink October 2026 opened on the evening of October 1st at ACIL, gathering 180 people for an event marked by welcome, emotion, and solidarity. The initiative was organized by the Council of Entrepreneurial Women (CME) of ACIL, in collaboration with ALICC – Limeira Association for Care and Affection, under the motto: 'Bonds that care, gazes that transform!'
A central moment of the program was the thematic panel, led by journalist Débby Salvi, featuring women from the Grotta Family. Fernanda, Milena, Ellen, and Sônia Grotta shared personal experiences about diagnosis, treatment, and prevention, highlighting the importance of family bonds during periods of change. Three of the participants dealt with breast cancer, while the fourth underwent preventive mastectomy after risk assessment.
These experiences demonstrated that discussing health and prevention also creates an environment of welcome, allowing other women to seek information to make informed decisions with their healthcare professionals. The connection between mothers and daughters gave a special meaning to the panel, evidencing the multiple ways family care is expressed.
A perspective on menopause
To expand the dialogue on women's health, a video dedicated to Lavender October was presented, a campaign focused on menopause and the need to address this stage of a woman's life with information and support. This topic gained relevance in Limeira with Ordinary Law No. 7.299, of April 2, 2026, proposed by councilwoman Mara Isa Mattos Silveira, which established Lavender October in the municipality and instituted Municipal Menopause Day for all of October 18th, a date already globally recognized. Including this subject in the agenda reinforces the objective of covering the diverse stages of women's health, often surrounded by doubts and taboos.
Music, welcome, and solidarity
The evening featured musical contributions from the ALICC Choir and the Encanta Palhaços Group, adding lightness and sensitivity to the event, which culminated in a fellowship cocktail party. During this cocktail, sponsors Sicoob 3 Colinas, Bellavera, and Séfora were showcased, along with a reserved space for ALICC. Solidarity was constant: 55 liters of milk were collected for ALICC, added to R$ 72 in donations made via Pix for the purchase of more milk. This mobilization signals that Pink October transcends mere awareness, functioning as a call to convert knowledge into action and care into initiatives capable of positively impacting lives.
Recognition of supporters
The realization of the event fundamentally depended on the support of various companies and professionals who support the cause. ACIL and the Council of Entrepreneurial Women expressed gratitude to A Imperial Móveis, Aura Gestão, Bella Capri, Bella Royale, Bellavera, Cilene Bolsas, Clinica Z, Colégio Brink Bem, Doçura Biscoitos, Doce Infancia Biscoitos, Drogalim, Elaine Fabri, Graal, Guilmo Viagens e Turismo, Home Whell, J Conde, Julia Cavinato Decoração, Limaq, Lucato Citrus, Mazuchi Semijoias, O3 Informática, Óticas Gazetta, Padoca do Be, Paula Papini, Prev Seg, Pura Vida Style, Revita Pró, Roseane Calabria, S A Refrigeração, Sandra D'Addona Mentora, Sassi & Castellar Advogados Associados, Sicoob 3 Colinas, Simone Parisi Scognamilgio, Simple Recrutamento e Seleção, Triade, Vacilim, Vida Alcalina, and Zaros School of Business.
