Bahromjon Usmanov has been appointed as the Head of the State Labor Inspectorate and Chief State Labor Inspector of the Andijan region. This appointment was formalized by an order from the Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction.
Before taking on his new duties, Usmanov held the position of lawyer at the Uslb-Huquq bureau, working in the city of Andijan. His upcoming task is to supervise compliance with current labor legislation in the region.
Previously, the State Labor Inspectorate itself conducted an inspection, which resulted in the Deputy Mayor of Karshi being fined for the use of forced labor.
