A branch of the People's Republic of China's Liaoning Normal University will be established in the Khorezm region of Uzbekistan. The relevant Presidential Decree PP-359 was adopted on October 2, 2026.
The educational activities of the branch will begin in the 2026/2027 academic year. Studies will be conducted in Uzbek, Chinese, or English. Students will be able to study both full-time and in an alternative format.
Those who enroll during the 2030/2031 academic year inclusive will receive full state funding throughout their studies. Starting from the 2030/2031 academic year, 30% of the admission places at the branch will be allocated based on state grants.
Internships will be organized for students at enterprises in the production and service sectors of the Khorezm region in accordance with curricula. The program also provides for the use of dual education mechanisms.
