The water level in the Gomti River in the capital of Uttar Pradesh state, Lucknow, is constantly rising. Because of this, the water in the river has reached the famous Patalapuri Lejja Hanuman temple. The water has flooded the courtyard and the temple shrine, reaching Baba's feet.
Local residents and priests note that a similar situation has been observed again since 2019-20. A temple priest reported that the water level continues to rise, and the water could potentially completely cover Baba.
