Federal University of South Bahia opens selection process with over 700 undergraduate vacancies

The Federal University of South Bahia (UFSB) has started a selection process aimed at filling remaining vacancies in its undergraduate courses. The official document was published this Friday (2) and offers a total of 701 vacancies, distributed across three modalities: 'Reentry,' 'External Transfer,' and 'Diploma Holders.'

Opportunities are available at the university campuses located in Ilhéus and Porto Seguro, situated in the southern region of the state, as well as the campus in Jequié, located in the southwest of Bahia. Each candidate must decide which entry modality best suits their situation. If called to register, they will need to present documentation proving the chosen condition.

According to the public notice, the access methods are detailed: for 'Reentry,' eligible are those who have previously studied in undergraduate courses at UFSB but had their enrollment canceled or dropped before completing the course, and must follow the process for the same previous course.

The 'External Transfer' is intended for students regularly enrolled in another undergraduate course, whether public or private. It is important to note that this transfer can only occur into the same course or a related field of knowledge.

Finally, the 'Diploma Holder' modality is reserved for individuals who already possess an undergraduate diploma validated by the Ministry of Education (MEC). In this option, interested parties have the freedom to enroll in any of the courses listed in the public notice.

The selection process will consider the score obtained by candidates in the National High School Exam (Enem). Participants may use results obtained in editions held between 2016 and 2025.
