Divinópolis Mayor Janete Aparecida, 51 years old, felt unwell at her home on Saturday afternoon (the 3rd) and required transport to the hospital. According to information from the City Hall, after examination by doctors, she remained in the Intensive Care Center (CTI) on Sunday (the 4th) as a precautionary measure. The mayor's health condition is stable.
The City Hall reported that the Mobile Emergency Response Service (Samu) was called to provide assistance. Since all teams were busy with other calls at that time, medical staff advised her to seek medical attention at the hospital herself.
After this, Janete was taken to the hospital where she underwent an examination and took necessary tests. Due to her hospitalization, official events of Janete Aparecida have been temporarily suspended.
In its statement, the City Hall thanked people for their concern and announced that new information about the mayor's health will be published in due course.
