Recently, major news emerged concerning Virendra Sehwag's son, Aryavir Sehwag. The young 18-year-old player has been entrusted with the captaincy role in the Delhi U-19 team to participate in the Vinod Mankad tournament. This is the first time Aryavir has been given leadership of a major team.
Sixteen players were announced by the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) on Saturday. The Vinod Mankad tournament is scheduled for October 8th and will be held in Visakhapatnam.
The last few months have been extremely successful for Aryavir. Recently, he represented the India U-19 squad in the youth ODI series against Australia, which was held in Rajkot.
