On Saturday night, Bernadette Azusena, an expat from the Philippines residing in Ajman, became the winner of the grand prize of 20 million dirhams in the October draw of Big Ticket Abu Dhabi. During this same draw, five other winners, all Indian expats, received consolation prizes.
Vasim Khan, another Indian expat living in Dubai, won the 'Dream Car' prize (Nissan Patrol). When the Big Ticket organizers, Richard and Bushra, contacted her to announce the win with ticket number 013075, she unfortunately could not take the call during the live broadcast.
Last month, in the September draw of Big Ticket Abu Dhabi, the main prize of 15 million dirhams was won by Shawkat Aftab, a resident of Pakistan. He was present in the Big Ticket studio on Saturday to select the winning ticket.
On October 3, five winners shared 1.95 million dirhams in consolation prizes during the same draw. Sunil Kumar, an Indian expat residing in Abu Dhabi, received 1 million dirhams with ticket number 098059. Another Indian expat from Ajman, Kulwant Singh, took home 500,000 dirhams with ticket 020601. Ajit Kumar from Muscat won 250,000 dirhams, and two other winners received 100,000 dirhams each.
The two winners of the 100,000 dirham consolation prize are Mohammed Ijaz, an Indian expat from Ajman (ticket 129625), and Satvan Kumar Chauhan from India, residing in Dubai (ticket 320975).
Three participants were also featured during the live broadcast on Saturday who will take part in the Big Spin draw in November. Throughout October, weekly electronic draws of Big Ticket will reward four winners with a 200-gram bar of 24-carat gold. Viewers can follow these electronic draws live on the Big Ticket YouTube channel and on the Big Ticket website at 19:30.
Any buyer of at least one Big Ticket in October will have a chance to be among the three participants in the Big Spin during the live draw on November 3. These three selected participants will then take part in the Big Spin on December 3, where each can win up to 1 million dirhams. Two 'Dream Car' draws are also scheduled: a Range Rover Velar will be drawn on November 3, and a Nissan Patrol on December 3.
