Inflow of venture capital in India maintains strong pace in early October

October began positively for the Indian startup ecosystem as venture capital attraction continued at a high level, thanks to two major deals made by Simple Energy and SiMa.Ai.

Throughout September, venture funding in India remained above the $300 million mark for three weeks; only one week saw a decline below $100 million. This was largely due to the presence of deals worth over $100 million, with four such deals registered in September.

The total funding volume for the first week of October amounted to $418 million across 22 deals. This exceeds the $382 million raised in the previous week. Two deals this week contributed significantly to the overall inflow, each exceeding $100 million, highlighting that large deals determine the volume of attracted funding.
