The groups Dru Hill and Silk will come to Pretoria to hold the first ever 'We Love R&B Concert Experience' at SunBet Arena on Time Square, located in Menlyn, on Sunday, May 22, 2027.
This concert promises fans an evening dedicated to the voices and songs that have shaped generations of R&B lovers. The group Dru Hill, known for powerful vocals and a series of classic hits, will perform songs such as 'In My Bed', 'Never Make a Promise', 'How Deep Is Your Love', 'Beauty', and 'These Are the Times'.
They will be joined by the acclaimed quartet Silk, whose repertoire includes the timeless R&B anthem 'Freak Me', as well as the songs 'If You' and 'Meeting in My Bedroom'.
The organizers, Remoakantse Holdings, confirmed that another major international artist will join the lineup, but they have decided to keep this information secret for now.
Thabiso Mogashwa, Managing Director of Remoakantse Holdings, stated: 'We are thrilled about what we are preparing for Pretoria. Dru Hill and Silk are incredible, multi-platinum artists with time-tested catalogs, and we know their music holds a very special place in the hearts of South African R&B fans.'
Mogashwa added that this is just the beginning, and another special announcement will be made soon, which they look forward to sharing with the audience. He explained that the decision to keep the next announcement secret was intentional, as the organizers want the reveal to be as exciting for fans as the preparation process itself.
With two already confirmed multi-platinum R&B artists and one other major international name yet to be revealed, the concert is shaping up to be a celebration of music, memories, and the voices that defined generations of R&B lovers. Tickets are available exclusively through Webtickets and at Pick n Pay outlets nationwide.
