The deadline for submitting applications for the state competition at the State Secretariat of Education of Para (Seduc-PA) has been extended to 4:00 PM on October 7. This competition provides for 2,000 immediate vacancies, as well as the formation of a reserve of candidates for mid-level and higher qualification positions.
To confirm candidacy, it is necessary to pay a registration fee: 85 reais for mid-level positions, 135 reais for higher level in the administrative sphere, and 185 reais for teachers and specialists.
The selection targets teachers, education specialists, and workers who can take up administrative positions in the department. The competition is organized by the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV).
The highest salary offered is 6,590.47 reais for education specialists. Analyst positions in administrative and pedagogical fields are paid at 5,907.63 reais. Class I teachers receive 4,393.64 reais, except for special education specialties, where the amount reaches 5,614.10 reais. The position of assistant to the state and educational management offers 1,864.29 reais.
The objective exam, consisting of 60 multiple-choice questions, is scheduled for November 29. In addition, depending on the position, candidates undergo additional stages: an oral exam, a practical exam (defense of a lesson plan or pedagogical management), and diploma accreditation, which grants extra points for specializations, master's, and doctoral degrees.
