RedeCompras Atacarejo has opened its third unit in Campina Grande, marking an important phase in the expansion of the RedeCompras Group. The new store, located at Rua Assis Chateaubriand, 245, in the Estação Velha neighborhood, began operating this Thursday, the 1st.
This new branch offers a complete structure designed to provide variety, convenience, and savings opportunities for customers. The unit features a sales area of 4,540.68 m² and a total built area of 8,507.92 m².
The opening aligns with the expansion plan presented by the RedeCompras Group in September, when the launch of the new wholesale brand in Paraíba was announced. At that time, two existing stores in Campina Grande adopted the new identity, while the Estação Velha store was in the final stages of preparation.
Structure for different shopping moments
The concept of RedeCompras Atacarejo aims to serve both the consumer who needs specific items and the one who makes large volume purchases, all within the same establishment. In the new unit, customers find dedicated sections for bakery, butcher shop, and fresh produce.
To facilitate the purchasing process, the store has 21 conventional checkouts and seven self-checkouts, offering the option of self-service. Additionally, the parking lot accommodates more than 100 vehicles for those arriving by car.
The operation of this unit in Estação Velha also contributes significantly to the local job market, generating approximately 180 direct jobs, according to information from the RedeCompras Group.
Three units in Campina Grande
With this inauguration, RedeCompras Atacarejo now serves three distinct locations in the city: Estação Velha, Liberdade, and Dinamérica. This movement holds special significance, as Campina Grande is the birthplace of the RedeCompras Group and was chosen as the starting point for the new brand.
The group's future strategy includes expanding the brand to João Pessoa, with plans for operations in the Três Lagoas region.
A new option for shopping in the city
By adding the three units, RedeCompras Atacarejo increases the available alternatives for residents of various areas of Campina Grande, promoting a combination of quality, variety, and savings under the new brand.
The Estação Velha proposal is now available at a new address, allowing consumers to closely examine the structure. The store is already open to the public at Rua Assis Chateaubriand, 245, and has organized spaces to meet different categories and purchasing needs.
The official channels of RedeCompras Atacarejo will also follow the inauguration, sharing images of the spaces and special offers.
