The state of Alagoas will feature sun, heat, and low air humidity during the first round of the 2026 Elections weekend, according to the State Secretariat of Environment and Water Resources (Semarh).
Temperatures may reach 37°C in the Alto Sertão region, covering the period from Friday (the 2nd) to Sunday (the 4th).
On this Friday, sunshine is expected to predominate in all locations across the state. Maximum temperatures should reach 31°C in the coastal area and may reach 36°C inland.
Relative air humidity is also expected to remain low, especially in the Sertão, Sertão do São Francisco, and Agreste areas, where minimum indices may drop to 28% and 29%, respectively.
Election Sunday will have sun and heat
On Saturday (the 3rd) and Sunday (the 4th), dates for the first round of the elections, the climate picture is expected to be similar, maintaining solar predominance in all regions of Alagoas.
In the coastal zone, there is a possibility of increased cloudiness both in the morning and late in the day; however, Semarh predicts that there will be no rainfall.
Temperatures will continue to rise slightly, with projected maximums of 31°C in the Coast, 33°C in the Agreste, and up to 37°C in the Alto Sertão. Low air humidity will persist, especially in the Sertão and the Sertão do São Francisco.
