Astana Hub, IT Park Uzbekistan, and Eurasia Growth Hub Join Forces to Support Startups

Astana Hub, IT Park Uzbekistan, and Eurasia Growth Hub have signed an agreement to expand opportunities for technology companies from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan aiming to enter international markets.

The memorandum of cooperation was signed during the international technology forum AI & Digital Bridge 2026. The document was signed by the CEOs of Astana Hub, Magzhan Madiev; IT Park Uzbekistan, Azamat Karamatov; and Eurasia Growth Hub, Muzaffar Karabayev.

Under this partnership, the parties plan to hold joint technology forums, webinars, business missions, and B2B meetings, as well as strengthen interaction between the startup ecosystems of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

One of the key areas will be assisting companies in establishing contacts with foreign clients, strategic partners, resellers, system integrators, investors, and accelerators.

Special attention will be paid to supporting Kazakhstani and Uzbek startups in entering the UK market and other international platforms with the help of Eurasia Growth Hub. The partners will also explore the possibility of creating soft landing mechanisms, including assistance in researching foreign markets, business development, and resolving operational issues.

Magzhan Madiev noted that 'Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan possess strong technological teams and talented entrepreneurs. Together with IT Park Uzbekistan, we want to help them enter international markets, find clients and partners, and develop their products. By combining the capabilities of two ecosystems and our international partners, we are creating conditions for more companies from the region to scale beyond the domestic market.'

According to Azamat Karamatov, this partnership should provide technology companies from both countries with new opportunities to find partners and clients, as well as attract investment. He also emphasized the potential of joint initiatives in artificial intelligence and research and development, which can contribute to creating products for the global market.

Muzaffar Karabayev stated that Eurasia Growth Hub will help startups adapt their solutions to the requirements of foreign markets and establish necessary business connections. He added that through the hub, teams will be able to receive practical support, going from market research to negotiations with potential customers and partners.

The memorandum also provides for joint projects in the field of artificial intelligence and R&D. The parties intend to exchange knowledge, implement pilot projects and mentorship programs, and develop cooperation between technology firms and scientific and educational institutions.

The AI & Digital Bridge 2026 forum took place as part of Kazakhstan's Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence. This forum became the central international event of AI MONTH—a monthly series of initiatives covering artificial intelligence, digital technologies, entrepreneurship, and human capital development.

Uzbekistan to create regional supply centers for agricultural products for the HoReCa sector

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan announced the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Association of Agricultural Producers of Uzbekistan and the 'Savdo va Servis' Association.

The document was signed by Saidvaly Nasredinov, chairman of the Association of Agricultural Producers, and Zafar Khoshimov, chairman of the 'Savdo va Servis' Association. The goal of this partnership is to strengthen the supply chain from farms to retail chains, hotels, and catering establishments.

The parties noted that modern buyers have high demands regarding quality, volume, compliance with standards, and timely delivery of products. In turn, producers require a stable market with reliable buyers.

To meet these needs, the concept of creating specialized hubs in various regions was discussed. Within this unified system, these centers will be responsible for sorting and quality assessment of products, their processing, packaging, preparation according to quality requirements, as well as supplying retailers and HoReCa enterprises.

As a result of implementing this system, the route from producer to end consumer will become more organized. The signed memorandum will serve as the basis for implementing new practical projects in this area.
