Nubank offers three months of free Spotify Premium with commercial partnership

Nubank customers have the opportunity to get three months of free access to Spotify Premium, thanks to a collaboration between the two services. This benefit is exclusive to those who have never subscribed to the Spotify Premium plan.

For those who have previously used the service, there is another option: access to the same plan with a discount, valid for two months. The promotion specifically applies to the Spotify Premium Individual plan, which costs R$ 23.90 per month and allows the platform to be used by a single person.

After the three-month free period ends, the corresponding amount will be debited monthly from the user's account, either through NuPay or the Nubank card. It is important that the customer cancels Spotify Premium before the fourth month to avoid any unwanted charges.

The redemption process is simple: just access the Nubank app and navigate to the Nu Benefits section, identified by the gift icon. There, the user must look for the offer related to Spotify Premium and follow the instructions provided to redeem it.

Although the main offer is intended for new Spotify Premium subscribers, the promotion rules indicate that previous users can redeem a benefit that grants up to 75% discount for two months, provided the previous subscription was canceled more than thirty days ago and they have not accepted any return offer to Spotify Premium in the last twenty-four months. Tecnoblog requested confirmation from Nubank regarding this discount option and is awaiting a response.

Additionally, the text mentions the current prices of Spotify Premium in the Brazilian market. All plans allow annual payment, but this format offers a more significant discount only on Spotify Premium Individual, which costs R$ 239 annually, equivalent to R$ 19.92 monthly.

Regarding Nubank, it was recalled that that week, Ultravioleta and Croma customers began to enjoy the Livelo points program.

Nubank establishes partnership with Livelo for point transfer from Ultravioleta and Croma cards

Nubank and Livelo have formalized a new collaboration focused on point transfers. This union allows expenses made by holders of the Ultravioleta and Croma cards to generate miles, which can be used to purchase airline tickets and various products in Livelo's partner stores.

The established conversion rate is one-to-one, and there is no minimum value requirement to make the transaction. This agreement was announced this Monday, September 28th.

Additionally, the partnership includes a 10% bonus incentive for customers who choose to transfer an amount equal to or greater than one thousand points to Livelo, which can result in an increase of up to 50 thousand points per CPF. It is important to note that the deadline to benefit from this promotion is October 12th, and the points must be credited to the Livelo account within thirty days after this date.

Currently, every dollar spent on the Ultravioleta card yields 2.2 points, while on the Nubank Croma, the yield is 1.4 points.

This move represents another initiative by Nubank aimed at strengthening its bond with its customer base. The previous week, the institution had communicated the restructuring of the NuCoin benefits program, aimed at users of the standard card, known as Roxinho, as initially reported by Tecnoblog.

With this new association, Nubank customers will gain access to approximately 600 partners available in the Livelo network. In an official press release, Marcelino Cruz, Executive Director of Business and Growth at Livelo, stated that the partnership aims to expand 'the possibilities for consumers to turn their spending into benefits.'

Taking advantage of the announcement, Livelo also released the study entitled 'The Behavioral Economics of Points,' conducted by the advertising agency AlmapBBDO. This study indicates that 87% of users perceive loyalty programs as an 'effective form of saving,' and that 82% have already changed their payment methods, migrating from debit or Pix to credit to take advantage of such benefits.

The point transfer process can be done directly through the Nubank application. The bank detailed the procedure, reinforcing that until October 12th, transfers exceeding one thousand points will receive the 10% bonus. Furthermore, Nubank customers have been using the Latam Pass Mode feature since March, which allows redemption of services and products directly in the Latam benefits program.
