A new video of Baba Bagneshwar, the spiritual leader of Bagneshwar Dham, has appeared online. The recording shows him emotionally crying before his followers during a sermon. During his talk, Dhirendra Shastri addressed those present, advising them never to trust the world. After these words, tears welled up in his eyes, and his voice broke.
This video was published on the official Instagram account of Bagneshwar Dham Government. Addressing the people, Dhirendra Shastri said: 'Residents of Ludhiana! We are leaving today. What can we give you? You are all intelligent. But today we want to say, with folded hands: do not trust this world. This world is very strange. Here they resurrect the dead, but abandon the living. Here they worship the dead, and no one asks about the living.'
He continued, pointing out social inequality: 'In this world, no one cares about the poor. You have seen! Only very rich people could come onto the stage. Where is the poor person? Who cares for the poor in this world?' He emphasized that those without money will receive no attention. They simply exist. In Ludhiana, the rich left, taking photos on the stage, while the poor continued to applaud in the crowd.'
With tears in his eyes, Dhirendra Shastri added: 'We have seen days of poverty in our lives; may God never let anyone see such days. We begged for alms for 15 years. We lived in one hut. My brothers, sisters, and parents and I lived in one hut. There wasn't even a light bulb for light. If someone gave kerosene, only one small lamp would burn. The person who is preaching to you today was not listened to in the village yesterday.'
He also recalled domestic hardships: 'Today coats change every day, but there was a time when one coat was worn for two and a half years. When my sister tied Raksha Bandhan for me, there were no sweets on the plate. She made our mouth sweet with sugar. Nothing is as great a curse as poverty. May God make someone anything, but not poor. However, our mother taught us one thing: never ask anything from this world. Ask only from the one who created this world.'
