A task has been set to bring sports closer to the local population. The achievements of Sirdaryo athletes in international competitions continue to grow. This year, representatives of the region won 340 medals.
Currently, 41.6 percent of the population engages in physical culture and sports. Now it is necessary to focus the main attention on aligning the achieved results with mass sports coverage, as well as bringing sports closer to every mahalla and the daily life of young people.
