Almost the entire region of Tocantins is under a storm alert issued by the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) this Friday, the 2nd. This warning classifies the event as having potential danger and anticipates precipitation of up to 50 millimeters daily, intense winds that may reach 60 km/h, in addition to the possibility of hail.
The alert began at midnight this Friday and will remain valid until 11:59 PM. According to Inmet information, associated risks include falling tree branches, flooding, damage to crops, and interruptions in electricity supply, although the risk of power outages is considered low.

In the city of Palmas, the expectation for this Friday is a day with many clouds, starting with the possibility of isolated rain in the morning. During the afternoon and night, showers accompanied by isolated thunderstorms are expected. Temperatures should range between 26°C and 37°C, with relative humidity varying between 40% and 80%.
For Saturday, the 3rd, the maximum expected temperature is 33°C. The forecast points to many clouds, with isolated showers and thunderstorms in the morning period, and overcast skies with drizzle in the afternoon and night.
As for Sunday, the 4th, the day when the first round of elections will take place, the capital is expected to have many clouds with isolated rain, and the temperature should remain between 25°C and 34°C.
