The arXiv.org scientific article preprint portal has introduced a restriction on submitting article applications. Now, one author can submit no more than two applications per month.
Additionally, an overall limit has been set: the total number of active submissions must not exceed three at any given time. This limitation was introduced to ensure the optimal distribution of volunteer moderators' working time.
The reason for introducing this limit is the sharp increase in the volume of low-quality materials, which is particularly linked to the dishonest use of artificial intelligence tools in creating scientific works. Information about these changes was posted on the official blog of the preprint portal.
