The Retail Social School (ESV) has started the registration period to offer 350 free spots aimed at young residents in Bahia, aged between 17 and 29. This program aims to prepare participants for the workplace, dedicating a workload of 150 hours, with special attention to job opportunities in the retail trade.
The training will be conducted in a hybrid format. It combines activities carried out remotely through the Distance Learning (EAD) platform provided by Instituto Aliança, in addition to providing two in-person meetings for each group of students.
Throughout the course, registered participants will have access to various essential content, covering socioemotional skills, digital competencies, and professional knowledge. Topics include self-knowledge, life and career planning, communication techniques, resilience, digital mastery, how to build a resume, and preparation for selection interviews.
Additionally, the training exposes young people to development and career possibilities in the retail sector, aligning participants' skills with current labor market demands. The program also provides support in job searching and guidance on participating in selection processes.
To apply, young people must meet a series of specific requirements. They must reside in Salvador and its region, be between 17 and 29 years old, and be enrolled in the third year of High School or have already completed studies in the public network. Another criterion is having a family income not exceeding three minimum wages. Men must also present their military service certificate.
Participants who complete all graduation requirements will receive a certificate issued by the State University of Ceará (UECE), which acts as a partner in this initiative.
