Uzbek Arbitrators Appointed for Football Finals of Asian Games 2026

Football players from Uzbekistan have been appointed to officiate the men's and women's football finals that will take place at the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya in 2026.

In the men's final, scheduled for October 3rd, the national teams of the Republic of Korea and Japan will meet. Uzbek referee Ruslan Serazitdinov has been appointed as an assistant referee, and Firdaws Norsafarov will serve as the VAR judge.

Norsafarov will also take on the role of VAR judge in the women's football tournament final, which will be held on October 2nd. In this decisive match, the national teams of North Korea and Japan will face each other.

Thus, representatives of Uzbek official structures will participate in both football finals at the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya 2026.

Russian referees will officiate the Uzbekistan vs Iran friendly match

The Football Federation of Uzbekistan reported that a team of Russian referees will officiate the friendly match between the national teams of Uzbekistan and Iran as part of the FIFA international window.

The main referee for the match has been appointed by the FIFA referee Kirill Levnikov. His compatriots Dmitry Ermakov and Andrey Vereteshkin will serve as assistants.

The game between Uzbekistan and Iran will take place on September 24th at the Istiqlol stadium.
