The Acre Court of Accounts (TCE-AC) will resume the application period for the public tender aimed at the position of substitute councilor, starting next Monday, the 5th. The final deadline for applications is the 26th of this month, and the process can be completed entirely online.
According to the published notice, the institution not only offers a position for immediate hiring but also plans to form a reserve registry. The initial remuneration stipulated for the auditor—substitute councilor position is R$ 39,753.22.
The reopening of applications was motivated by a judicial determination issued by the Acre Court of Justice (TJ-AC). This judicial decision altered the educational requirement, allowing candidates with a degree in any field of higher education, provided it is duly registered and issued by an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC), to participate.
Despite the change in education requirements, the TCE maintains the obligation that applicants must have a minimum of ten years of professional experience, with specific knowledge in the areas of public administration, accounting, law, and economics, according to the guidelines established for the function.
Competition Organization
The competition in question is being organized by the Brazilian Center for Research in Evaluation and Selection and Event Promotion (Cebraspe). The new official document for the competition also brings updates to the schedule and informs the locations where internet access will be available for those who need assistance during the application process.
Changes in Educational Requirement
Initially, the competition had been launched with the requirement that candidates present degrees in Public Administration, Accounting, Law, or Economics. However, in August of this year, the TJ issued an injunction, ordering the suspension of the competition until the rules regarding the academic qualification requirement were adjusted.
To comply with the judicial order, the TCE opted to suspend the competition and postpone the holding of the exams.
