The New University of Uzbekistan gathered representatives from international companies, academic circles, and leading industries of Uzbekistan on September 29 for the first meeting of its International Industrial Advisory Council (IAC).
Participants in the plenary session included representatives from the Technical University of Munich, Robert Bosch GmbH, Nexperia, STADA Arzneimittel AG, and the Berlin Alliance of Universities, as well as the First Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC 'Uzkhimprom' and heads of leading Uzbek organizations and companies.
Attendees discussed the university's strategic goals and mission, as well as opportunities to expand cooperation between the university and the industrial sector, focusing on the development of research and innovation projects.
Faculty and staff of the New University of Uzbekistan presented their practical and research projects. During discussions, participants examined the prospects of implementing these projects in practice with the participation of industrial partners.
The thematic sessions covered issues such as production technologies, financial technologies and innovations, as well as management and logistics. The first IAC meeting served as a platform for interaction between representatives of science, business, and the public sector, where the further development of joint educational, research, and practical initiatives was discussed.
