A dispute arose in a recent episode of 'Bigg Boss 20' concerning the use of the word 'lollipop'. Actors, including Kanika Mann and Amrapali Dubey, faced criticism, prompting Kajji Taukir's team to issue a response.
The team stated that they firmly oppose constant attempts to damage Kajji's reputation and mock him. They emphasized that the word was used in a playful and innocent manner.
Furthermore, the team raised the issue of Amrapali's dance in the song 'Lollipop Lagelu' following the controversy surrounding this word.
In a statement published on social media, Kajji's team wrote that they strongly object to Kajji constantly being targeted and defamed. They reminded that host Salman Khan had previously clarified the meaning of the word 'lollipop' during the 'Weekend Ka Vaar' episode, asserting that people are currently drawing incorrect conclusions about the situation.
The team noted that Salman Khan clearly explained the meaning of the word 'lollipop' on the 'Weekend Ka Vaar' broadcast. They also pointed out that Kanika herself understood the context and discussed it with Kajji, admitting she might have misinterpreted the situation.
In the team's view, Kajji used the word innocently, and critics are accused of distorting its innocence. Commenting on Kanika, they mentioned her phrase 'to appear in the show somewhere,' implying that she is artificially inflating this incident.
The team also addressed the dispute related to the 'Ball Task', arguing that viewers are misinterpreting what happened. According to their version, Kanika suggested Kajji participate in the task, and then expressed dissatisfaction about it. Labeling this a 'double standard,' the team urged the participants of 'Bigg Boss 20' to stop attacking Kajji and making accusations against his character.
The team questioned how Amrapali Dubey interpreted the word 'lollipop'. Questioning why the word is being interpreted ambiguously, they asked: 'Why does your brain always look for a double meaning?' They also mentioned Amrapali's old dance videos where she performs the popular Bhojpuri song 'Lollipop Lagelu.'
They posed the question: why is the same word used by Kajji viewed differently? The team wrote: 'So, Amrapali, tell us honestly—there are many videos online where you dance and enjoy the song 'Lollipop Lagelu'. Did you do it willingly or were you pressured? Because inside the 'Bigg Boss' house, when Kajji uses this word, suddenly you cannot tolerate it.'
Concluding their statement, Kajji's team questioned why his name is constantly associated with such things. They called these accusations 'unfounded and questioning his character' and urged people to stop associating him with such matters.
