According to an analysis conducted by the Global Burden of Disease international collaboration, the number of people suffering from heart failure worldwide has significantly increased over the last thirty years. Researchers studied data covering 204 countries and territories from 1990 to 2023.
The results of this analysis, published in JAMA Cardiology, established that the number of people with heart failure increased by more than two times during the specified period.
