The Uzbek company Uzbekneftegaz held discussions with the Chinese firm Ximile regarding joint projects, the supply of compressor equipment, and future cooperation, according to Uzbekneftegaz's information service.
One of the central topics of the negotiations was the project to equip compressor stations at wellheads for facilities operated by the Mubarek and Gazli oil and gas production departments.
According to an agreement signed in April of this year, Ximile committed to supplying 35 sets of piston compressor units for 12 such stations.
Currently, 23 compressors have been manufactured, 17 of which have passed testing. Another 14 units have already been sent to the customer, and the first compressor has been delivered to the construction site of the Zevarda field.
During the meeting, the parties emphasized the need to accelerate the production and delivery of the remaining equipment according to the approved schedule. The timely commissioning of the compressor stations is considered a critically important element for maintaining a stable volume of natural gas production.
Furthermore, Ximile's plans to open a representative office and a service center in Uzbekistan were discussed. This is expected to allow for regular maintenance of the equipment, speed up the delivery of spare parts, and expand knowledge exchange between specialists from both companies.
