Shavkat Mirziyoyev was introduced to the project of the first national car under the DOST brand. This presentation took place during the head of state's visit to 'Yangi Uzbekistan' University on the occasion of Teacher and Mentor Day.
Information about the project presentation was disclosed by the press service of 'ADM Global'. During his visit, the head of state toured the ADM technical laboratory, where he familiarized himself with the company's activities.
As part of this project, university students are participating in the development of the new car together with engineers from the 'ADM Jizzakh' plant. Currently, the company is working on creating the concept for the future vehicle and preparing the production site.
The first stage is planned to be the production of light commercial vehicles under the DOST brand. The goal of this step is to study market demand and test technical and marketing solutions by the company.
This will be followed by the creation of a passenger car. The first prototype of this passenger car is planned to be presented early next year.
'ADM Jizzakh' plant is considered a private multi-brand automotive plant in Uzbekistan. It is expected that the accumulated production experience at this enterprise will be used to create cars under the DOST brand.
Within the scope of the entire project, engineers for automotive engineering are also being trained at 'Yangi Uzbekistan' University. Students are working on real automotive projects alongside ADM specialists during their studies.
