When choosing a dining table, its size relative to the room size should also be considered. Furniture that is too large in a small room can reduce space and create discomfort when sitting. Vastu emphasizes the importance of maintaining order and cleanliness in the dining area. Therefore, unnecessary items should be avoided on the table, and it should be kept clean after meals.
The cleanliness of mirrors and the dining area is very important in Vastu. One must monitor the cleanliness of the mirror on the dressing table and avoid cluttering around it. Likewise, it is advisable to avoid storing dirty dishes or food scraps on the dining table for extended periods, which also has a practical benefit.
When arranging furniture, general aspects beyond the direction of the dressing and dining tables should be taken into account. Furniture should not impede movement through the room. It is advisable to avoid placing extra items in front of windows and doors. It is also preferable to maintain open space in some part of the house instead of accumulating too many things there. This helps maintain natural lighting and air circulation in the room.
