SeaWorld Orlando transforms into a horror environment during Halloween with its annual event, Howl-O-Scream, which has been recognized as the best event of its kind in the city. During the day, the park offers pleasant experiences, such as caring for rescued animals, meeting penguins, and the thrill of radical roller coasters. However, as night falls, the atmosphere changes drastically, shifting from joy to suspense, and the cheers of the entertainment turn into sounds of dread.
To participate in Howl-O-Scream, visitors must go to the Waterfront waiting area, as it is not necessary to leave and return to the park. This event has become a tradition, filled with unexpected scares in every corner. It is notable to observe families and groups of friends dressed in themed costumes and accessories, although costumes and masks are strictly prohibited, being allowed only to official event actors.
Howl-O-Scream requires an additional ticket to the SeaWorld and includes six 'scare zones' and five haunted houses. In the scare zones, which are walked through, the darkness intensifies the suspense, with characters suddenly appearing or emitting nearby screams. Those who do not wish to participate in these games can purchase a glowing necklace called 'No-Boo' at the park's stores, signaling to the actors that they are not interested.
Adrenaline can also be sought at night with attractions such as the Expedition Odyssey Fire & Ice simulator and the Ice Breaker, Mako, and Pipeline: The Surf Coaster roller coasters, which operate throughout the night. The five haunted houses are described as superproductions, with queues that can reach an hour of waiting. Four of these houses feature original narratives and immersive horror environments.

Meanwhile, 'The Dark Net' is set in a futuristic city affected by an energy crisis, where cyborgs discover blood as a new source of energy, leading visitors into the decadent depths of the city, where cybernetic predators await in the darkness. Finally, 'The Crawl Space' explores a network of abandoned tunnels beneath the city, revealing terrifying secrets as one moves through the underground.
In addition to the horror attractions, visitors can opt for one of the five themed bars to enjoy sinister cocktails served by unfriendly attendants. The schedule also includes live shows, such as Dead Air, which brings back 90s stars who never achieved 'boy band' fame. The Grave Danger Thrill Show is a rock and roll show with circus acrobatics, including tricks like swallowing swords and walking on glass. Throttle takes visitors to a hellish place, where pilots tear open portals led by a bone-carved nightmare.
Monster Stomp
Monster Stomp is cited as the fan favorite. This show takes place in a theater and depicts a foggy Victorian London tormented by a monster known only as Jack the Ripper.
