The Alfa Romeo Bottegafuoriserie division unveiled an exclusive example of the 33 Stradale, a mid-engine supercar produced in a limited run of only 33 units. This model, named Perla Nera (which means black pearl in Italian), was created in collaboration with a brand collector whose identity remained confidential. The vehicle will be displayed at the Museo Alfa Romeo, located in Arese, Italy, until October 18th, before being delivered to its owner.
Cristiano Fiorio, director of Bottegafuoriserie, stated that every aspect of the automobile was conceived in partnership with the owner. The manufacturer itself describes this collector as someone deeply passionate and with extensive knowledge of the automotive sector, and it was he who chose and registered the name of this special variant.
The most striking visual element lies in the body made of exposed carbon fiber, featuring a matte finish. According to Alfa Romeo, this material was applied manually within the molds to ensure the pattern perfectly followed the contours of the sports car. To accentuate the dark look, the car features three-spoke black wheels and brake calipers in the same tone.
Inside, the dark aesthetic is maintained through the combination of visible carbon fiber and full Alcantara upholstery. A notable feature is the sports seats, which were redesigned after measurement and consultation sessions, molded specifically to meet the comfort and performance needs of the owner's physique.
The cabin also incorporates additional customizations, such as the honeycomb pattern, which the brand calls 'cannelloni,' present on the dashboards and door sills. Furthermore, there are the Quadrifoglio and Autodelta emblems, along with the buyer's initials engraved on the rotary selector. The Perla Nera logo can be seen in several places, including the compartment on the rear wall, where the number 03/33 is displayed. This same number is also present on the custom luggage set, which is also upholstered in Alcantara.
This supercar shares the carbon fiber monocoque and aluminum chassis with the Maserati MC20 and its restyled version, the MCPura. The engine used is a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6, generating over 620 horsepower and 74.4 kgfm of torque, positioned behind the seats and connected to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission with rear-wheel drive. According to Alfa Romeo, the acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h is less than three seconds, and the top speed reaches 333 km/h.
Although the initial price exceeded R$ 10.4 million (equivalent to US$ 2 million), all 33 units of the 33 Stradale have already been sold. The presentation of the Perla Nera takes place before the debut of a new brand concept car at the Paris Motor Show.
